BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta

The recent expansion of the BMO Centre in Calgary, Alberta, created the largest convention center in Western Canada with over 1 million square feet. Due to the magnitude of the expansion, effective project management and deep product knowledge were mandatory to make this project a success. From the beginning, the Modernfold Major Projects team worked on the project as a joint venture with the Canadian-based distributor, Inter-Co Division 10. The team supported the initiative from inception to conclusion including design, engineering, production, and installation. Relying on deep relationships with the architectural, design, and engineering firms involved, the Modernfold Major Projects team invested extensive hours in collaborating on design specifics both large and small. With a total of 323 Modernfold panels installed, the Modernfold Major Projects team was uniquely positioned to guide this demanding project.

Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center in Chula Vista, California

The Gaylord Pacific Resort and Convention Center in Chula Vista is a prime example of Modernfold's expertise in creating adaptable, cutting-edge movable walls.  Currently under construction and expected to open in Summer of 2025, the resort will include 1,600 rooms as well as a state-of-the-art convention center that will house over 1,000 Modernfold operable wall panels and track.

Gaylord Pacific is being built to comply with California’s Energy Code, Title 24, which exceeds that of LEED certified buildings. It is one of the most sustainable resort destinations in America.  Modernfold’s operable walls contributed to numerous LEED credit categories including indoor environmental quality.
